Hello fellow theatre lovers!
My name is Megan Fellows and I am a London/Chesham based playwright trying to make it in the big bad world of theatre. Whilst the stage is my main passion I also dabble in writing for both television and film.
This blog is a culmination of theatre reviews, details of my own personal projects and general snippets and posts about my ‘fun and frolics’ in the wonderful world of theatre.
Cue Instagram photos of theatre tickets, Edinburgh Fringe selfies and honest reviews on performances I see.
Bio: Megan is a graduate from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama having completed her Masters course in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media in 2015. She has had her work produced in numerous new writing nights: from Paperback Theatre at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square; Draft N16 at Theatre N16, Balham; and The PRT Summer Shorts at The Orlando Shakespeare Center, Florida. Megan was a finalist in the Theatre Madness Festival 2016 in which she had one month to write and direct a short play to be performed at the Stratford Circus Arts Centre. Her piece ‘Holnap House’ was awarded second place in the competition. Megan was longlisted for the BBC Scriptroom 10 initiative, in which they received over 3100 submissions in their 2015/16 open call. Her full length play ‘Telo’ made it through three rounds of siftings, reaching the top 8% of all submissions. ‘Telo’ is due to receive its debut performance at the RADA Festival 2017 in July, where it has been given the honour of closing the entire festival.
